Ok! So this is our first ever experience with the whole Boy Scouts Pinewood Derby! Braxton was just thrilled about the idea of building this car from a block of wood and then racing it against all of his buddies at scouts. Little did he know, his dad has pretty awesome memories of his own very successful Pinewood Derby races. It was fun to see Lyndon so excited about arousing a childhood memory. This first picture shows Lyndon putting some finishing touches on the car. Braxton was a shadow the whole time.

definitely had the best looking car around. In fact, one of the awards I think he got was for best paint job!
Considering how camera happy I have been lately, you'd think I could nail a better picture than this for such a big day! O well!
Braxton had a great time. Though we didn't end up with the fastest car, we for sure ended up with the most grateful child. He really enjoyed all of it.
Here are the kids in their Christmas P.J.'s! Thank you Grandma!!! We always open our Christmas jammies on Christmas Eve! The kids realy look forward to it. They are so cute!

This one is my sister, her husband and two of her three kids. What a great memory!
