2008 Elk Hunt

Here is a great picture of Lyndon in Heaven. He harvested this nice bull elk the first week of September. Braxton and Cooper loved hunting and hiking with him all month. He was hunting alone this day and shot this elk at 50 yards away right in the heart. He tracked him only 50 yards from where he had shot him. I wanted to post his elk because now that we are blogging again the only pics of him I have this month are these kind. We are also very proud of his exceptional gift with the elk, archery and the outdoors. It brings great value to our family.

Fall Picnic

We took a little trip up to Lyndon's hunting camp. He was out hunting with his brother and they were packing another elk out. Needless to say we ate dinner without them and played in the creek a bit. If you can't really tell, the kids are really having a hard time smiling. The water is freezing cold. They had a great time though. The love the mountains as much as their dad does.

Mikaelyn

Our little Mikaelyn. She is such an amazing little baby. She has the funniest personality. She is always making the funniest faces, laughing and smiling. She has us constantly craking up. As you can see in the pictures below she has her dad on the ground laughing. She has brought so much joy to this family. She is doing quite a bit of sign language and saying a few words. She is very wise and very, very fun as you all can see. I hope you enjoy these pictures as much as we have.

The Archery Family

Here are some great pictures of the kids shooting at our camp. They are just getting so good at this archery stuff. Much to their fathers dismay I am sure you can imagine! Ha!!! Thank goodness it is a lifetime sport. Braxton and Cooper are becoming a little competative now. Hopefully we can teach them to seek balance. Maybe not our strong suit since we are now just seeking it ourselves.

Preslee sure loves to shoot her bow too. She simply just does it for fun. Though she doesn't talk about it day and night like the boys, she is also much better than last year. This has become a very important tradition for our family.

We Love Camping!!!

On Memorial Day weekend we did go camping. We were just not sure until the last minute because the weather was so bad down here. Thank goodness for the wonderful camper we paid a whopping $800.00 for. Wow, one raining weekend alone was worth every penny.

Dancing Queen!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This was Preslee's little dance recital! She was very excited about this chance to practice and perform. She had no stage fright, not even a little. She had so much fun! They did "The Wizard of Oz"!! It was so cute. We'll see if she is just as excited next year. Dancing used to be my favorite thing to do. Maybe she and I share that interest.

She especially LOVED these tap shoes! She loves the tapping sound on stage. She was grinning

from ear to ear the whole time she was up there.

Wrestling 2008

This last couple months Braxton and Cooper have been seriously enjoying wrestling. They have been working their tails off!!! Here are a
